PUTTA MANE is a contemporary residence designed for Mr. Ravikumar and his family in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka by residential architects in Bangalore. Set on a 50’ x 80’ corner site with views of the Mullayangiri hills, the home is planned to respond to its scenic surroundings. The project focuses on creating a modern family home that feels open, welcoming, and closely connected to nature while maintaining the comfort and warmth expected in a private residence.

The Design Concept

The design explores spatial connectivity by creating a series of open and transitional spaces rather than strictly separated rooms. The house is organized into family and private zones, ensuring both interaction and privacy within the home. A double-height dining area forms the central core, visually linking the upper and lower levels and connecting the interiors to the garden. Elements like a floating staircase, brick-clad wall, and an interactive kitchen with a breakfast counter enhance the sense of warmth and everyday family interaction.
