The Louvered House, Hosur

The Louvered House is an independent villa designed for a Bangalore-based family in Hosur. Spread across 8,300 sq ft on a 100 × 80 ft plot, the design combines architecture and interiors with a focus on privacy, natural light, and climate response.

Fixed aluminium louvres define the facade, providing shade and privacy while giving the home a strong horizontal character. The layout separates formal living and dining areas from the bedroom spaces, with a central courtyard bringing light and ventilation into the home. The interiors use a warm, natural material palette with granite flooring, teak-toned details, and clean contemporary finishes. The project is currently ongoing.
